WINNIPEG – A multi-vehicle collision has sent five people to hospital with one patient in critical condition. Two are in unstable condition and two are stable. The accident happened at about 1:00pm.

Southbound Pembina Highway is closed between Grandmont Boulelvard and Rue des Trappistes. Northbound Pembina Highway remains open but motorists should expect delays in the area.

The cause of the motor vehicle collision will be investigated by Winnipeg Police Service.
