WINNIPEG – Manitoba’s chief public health officer is bringing in a new COVID-19 order.
Dr. Brent Roussin says starting today, you’ll need to self-isolate for 14 days if you test positive for coronavirus or have been exposed to it by a close contact.
People needing to self-isolate will be informed by a public health official.
This new order comes after we learned yesterday of a 14th Manitoban dying from the virus. She was a resident of a personal care home in Steinbach where there’s an outbreak. There’s also an outbreak at a PCH in Brandon.
