WINNIPEG – Health minister Heather Stefanson says the new chair of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is Patricia Solman.

She replaces Wayne McWhirter who resigned after travelling to Arizona during the pandemic. Premier Brian Pallister said he was disappointed in McWhirter when his travel came to light.

Solman is a chartered accountant and she was most recently the vice-chair of Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries.
