SELKIRK – RCMP in Selkirk have closed their investigation into the death of a 21-year-old man found in the middle of Highway 59.

Police have determined that the 21-year-old man, who was walking on the highway, was struck by a trailer being pulled by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle has been in contact with the RCMP.

Based on the investigation, no charges are expected.

The RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance as many witnesses and drivers have come forward and provided important information that has assisted with this investigation.
