WINNIPEG – One of the three Tony Roma’s locations in the city has closed. While two remain open, the restaurant on Nairn Avenue closed this week after failing to work out an agreement with the landlord. Segovia in Osborne Village has also packed it in. Many observers believe this is just the beginning when it comes to restaurant closures in the wake of CoVid-19. Restaurants still struggling to survive with takeout, delivery and patio service are hoping they can re-open their dining rooms June 1st when phase two of Manitoba’s re-opening plan kicks in.
