WINNIPEG, MB – It’s official, you will not be allowed to smoke at outdoor patios this summer in Winnipeg.

City Council passed the new law banning smoking entirely, The ban includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vape devices, cigars, pipes and any other kind of tobacco product where food and beverages are served in the city. The ban will include marijuana smoking once it’s legal.

The ban comes into effect on April 1, 2018.
