Over 15 Charges After Police Stop a Suspicious 28-Year-Old Male

WINNIPEG, MB. – A 28-year-old Winnipeg man was caught holding a number of narcotics and weapons.

On Tuesday, January 9, at approximately 11:50 a.m., police stopped a suspicious man near Arlington Street and Manitoba Avenue. It turned out that the man that they stopped had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Police also found a can of bear spray and a folding knife along with several other items including;

4 grams of cocaine powder
4 1/8 gram rocks of cocaine wrapped in foil
2 baggies, each containing approx. 12 grams of methamphetamine
43 Percocet pill, each containing 5 mg of oxycotone
A loaded, but dismantled shotgun
1 shotgun shell
3 digital scales, packaging material, and four bags of cutting agent

Police said they charged Scott Marcel Brennan, 28-years-old with:

Possess Weapon X3
Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
Carry Concealed Weapon, prohibited Device or Ammunition
Possession of Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
