Pallister Gives Vaccine Update

WINNIPEG – Premier Brian Pallister says he’s feeling more secure about the vaccine supply chain so the province will hold back fewer doses for that required second shot in an effort to get more people vaccinated sooner. He expects 40,000 additional Manitobans will be vaccinated by the end of January.

Meanwhile, Appointments are now being made for next week as the vaccine supersite opens at the RBC Convention Centre on Monday. About four thousand doses are available to eligible healthcare workers. So far, there have been almost 3,000 immunizations.
