WINNIPEG – Manitoba 150 celebrations have been put on hold. Premier Brian Pallister says there’s important work to be done right now but when CoVid-19 concerns ease, people will be ready for a big party to mark this province’s 150th birthday. He also announced the legislature will resume sitting next Wednesday so coronavirus measures can be passed. Physical distancing will happen. People seem to like the job Pallister is doing through this crisis as his approval rating is currently pushing 80 per cent.
