PALLISTER PLAN FOR STUDENTS

WINNIPEG – Premier Brian Pallister has announced a strategy to help students and employers stimulate Manitoba`s economy. His Summer Student Recovery Plan is a new wage subsidy to support high school and post-secondary students. Up to $120 million is available for employers to access $7 an hour to a maximum of $5,000 per student. Up to five students, between the ages of 15 and 29, can be hired from May 1st to September 4th.
