WINNIPEG – City council says its patio registration program will now be free for Winnipeg businesses.

The program allows eligible businesses to operate a temporary patio space from April 1st to October 31st.

The city started offering the patio program early in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The cost to the city is about $110,000 per year.
