Pedestrian Hit by Semi-Trailer on Notre Dame Ave

WINNIPEG, MB – A man is in hospital this morning after being struck by a semi-trailer last night at around 8:30 PM.

Police say the this pedestrian incident happened at the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and Edmonton Street.

The pedestrian, a 55-year-old male, was taken to hospital in critical condition where he remains.

Police said in a news release, the investigation determined the pedestrian had stepped into the road when he was struck by a westbound semi-trailer truck. No charges are expected against the driver of the truck at this time.
