Polar Vortex Coming

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – Unseasonably warm temperatures continue but not for much longer.

Winnipeg is expecting a high of +1 today but by early next week, Environment Canada is calling for more normal temps.

EC’s senior climatologist David Phillips says a polar vortex, arctic cold air, is on the way.

He says we can expect daytime highs in the mid-minus teens and overnight lows in the mid-minus 20’s.
