Police Asking for Public’s Help for Christmas Day Murder

WINNIPEG – A homicide that occurred on Christmas Day is still unsolved and the police are asking for help from the public.

Police found the victim, 37 year-old Gordon Edward Pashe, laying on a sidewalk at Salter Street and Redwood Avenue around 10:20 A.M. They saw that he had been assaulted and he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Members of the Homicide Unit continued with the investigation and believed that Pashe had been assaulted in the 300 block of Redwood Avenue before being located by officers.

Investigators are releasing images and video of a car believed to be a vehicle of interest in the homicide. The red-coloured Chevrolet Sonic was seen in the North End area of Winnipeg in the days before, during and after the incident.
