WINNIPEG – Police have issued an update on the Public Safety Advisory that was issued last week regarding a suspicious man dressed as an MTS employee going door to door in Transcona.

Bell MTS has confirmed that door to door marketers were in the Transcona area on the date of this incident, and are working again this week. Bell MTS representatives can be identified as follows:

They will be wearing a visible lanyard with photo id displayed

They will be wearing an article of clothing with a visible Bell MTS logo displayed

They must identify themselves and provide their name upon request
