Police Continue Search for Missing Eduardo Balaquit

The Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit continues to investigate the disappearance of 59 year-old Eduardo Balaquit, who went missing during the evening of Monday, June 4, 2018.

The Fall season brings a loss of foliage in the woods as well as a significant number of hunters roaming rural areas. Investigators want to remind people to be cognizant of any unusual items they may find, particularly in the Arborg, Manitoba area. Items that may seem insignificant to the casual observer may have significant relevance to the investigation.

Specifically, police would like to remind the public of the clothing that Eduardo was wearing at the time of his disappearance:

– Black coloured, zip-up sweater

– Black coloured pants

– Black coloured shoes

Eduardo is described as approximately 5’4″ in height, 155 lbs in weight with a medium build. He is Asian in appearance with black hair/brown eyes
