Police Identify Body Found Christmas Eve

MANITOBA – Manitoba RCMP said a body discovered on Christmas Eve has now been identified.

The body was located in the RM of Rosedale, on December 24th. Police identified the victim as Cody Mousseau, a 32-year-old man from Sandy Bay First Nation.

Cody was reported missing to the Manitoba First Nations Police on December 8th of this year. It’s believed that he was last seen in Sandy Bay between November 27 and December 1st.

Officials said the death is being investigated as a homicide by Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Services with assistance from the Manitoba First Nations Police.
