Police Investigate Man Killed Near Rail Line

WINNIPEG – The victim of the city’s 13th homicide has now been identified.

53 year-old Joselito Fernandez of Winnipeg was shot and killed along the rail lines on Selkirk Avenue on April 18 at about 3:10 am.

Homicide investigators are now asking the public for their assistance. Anyone in the area that has access to video surveillance or may have heard/seen something unusual overnight is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508.
