WINNIPEG – Police are investigating several incidents of people being scammed purchasing Winnipeg Jets playoff tickets online.

Police said the incidents involve the purchase of tickets online from popular buy & sell sites that are later discovered to be undelivered or not valid.

Police are again reminding people looking to buy hockey tickets to only do so from people known to them or through an appropriate ticket exchange service. Buyers should be cautious when making any ticket purchases via the internet and never transfer tickets until the payment has been received.
