WINNIPEG, MB – A Winnipeg man found suffering from a stab wound last evening has died in hospital.

Police said they received the call around 7:50 PM last night of a stabbing in the 500 block of Agnes Street.

An injured man was found and taken to hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The victim has been identified as Gilbert Chartrand, a 42-year-old man from Winnipeg.
