WINNIPEG, MB – A Winnipeg Transit Bus was involved in an accident yesterday morning at the intersection of Warde Avenue and John Forsyth Road and police are looking for witnesses.

Police believe the bus was traveling southbound on John Forsyth Road when it was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Warde Avenue around 6:45 AM.

The driver of the bus was taken to hospital in stable condition with minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle and his female passenger were taken to hospital in unstable condition. Both were later upgraded to stable condition.

Police arrested the driver of the second vehicle, a 29-year-old male, for Drive While Ability Impaired and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
