Police Seize Thousands in Drugs and Gang Paraphernalia

WINNIPEG, MB – Winnipeg police and tactical officers discover thousands in drugs at a suite in a residential complex in Roslyn area and in a garage in the St. John’s area of the city.

Executing a search warrant police took one man into custody and seized the following items:

  • 9.3 ounces of cocaine (valued at approximately $18,500).
  • 21.9 grams of marihuana (valued at approximately $220).
  • 115 suspected MDMA pills (valued at approximately $1,150).
  • 25 Tylenol 3’s.
  • Gang paraphernalia.
  • Brass knuckles.
  • Packaging materials.

Police said they charged James Keith Goodmanson, a 34-year-old male of Winnipeg, with:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cannabis (Marihuana)
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Ecstasy
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Codeine
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
