UPDATE – Police Locate Missing 67-Year-Old Man

Winnipeg Police said they have safely located Gaston Plante and thank the public for their help.

WINNIPEG, MB – Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 67-year-old man who is believed to be in Winnipeg.

Missing is Gaston Plante he is also known as Joseph Plante, he is originally from Hornpayne, Ontario, however, has been living a transient lifestyle for the last 40 years according to his family.

Plante was last seen by his family in Ontario back in September of 2017. He is believed to have then travelled to Winnipeg where he was last seen in the downtown area on January 22, 2018. The family has had no contact with him since.

Plante is described as a Caucasian Male, 6’0″ in height, 250 lbs., with a heavy build, medium length light brown/white hair and blue eyes.

Police and his family are concerned about Plante’s well-being and is asking anyone with information to call police at 204-986-6250.
