RCMP said, in a release, that on December 12, a relative of Martina Ballantyne contacted the police and expressed concern for Martina’s well-being.

Manitoba RCMP began searching for Martina in Thompson, her last known address in Flin Flon, as well as addresses in The Pas, Cross Lake, Pukatawagan and York Landing.

Martina is 37-years-old and described as Indigenous, 5’6, 130 pounds, brown eyes and dark brown hair. She may still be in northern Manitoba or possibly in the Winnipeg area.

Martina’s last contact with a relative was on December 12 and with another individual on December 19, however, police said, they have yet to locate and speak directly with Martina and are also growing concerned for her well-being.

The RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen or heard from Martina to contact the Thompson RCMP at 204-677-6909 or call Manitoba Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
