DAUPHIN, MB. – Two residents were able to escape with minor injuries from a house fie in Dauphin, RCMP are investigating the cause.
Tuesday evening around 10:50 pm, Dauphin RCMP arrived at a house fire in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue SW in Dauphin. The Fire Department was on scene when officers arrived and were able to extinguish the fire and keep it from spreading to the surrounding buildings.
In a news release RCMP said, the two occupants of the house escaped the fire with minor injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined and is under investigation by RCMP with the assistance of the Office of the Fire Commissioner.
