WINNIPEG – Early Saturday morning RCMP in Thompson responded to a call at the Burntwood Hotel of an injured man in the parking lot.

When police arrived at the hotel, a 35-year-old man with serious injuries had been taken to local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating this death as a homicide.

RCMP said in a release, that this is believed to be an isolated incident, and there are no concerns for public safety stemming from this incident.
