BERENS RIVER FIRST NATION – A 38 year-old man from Bloodvein First Nation has died after he was assaulted at a home in Berens River First Nation.

Police responded to the assault on November 16 at about 4:20 A.M. and he was taken to hospital, however he died as a result of his injuries on November 18.

Berens River RCMP along with Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.
