WINNIPEG, MB – An RCMP search of an abandoned car initiated a search that ended with police discovering the body of a 30-year-old male.

Friday, February 24, police responded to a call about an abandoned vehicle on the road leading to the Easterville Airport. When police arrived and then searched the vehicle, they found blood.

RCMP and members of the community immediately started searching for the last known person to have driven the car, a 30-year-old male from Easterville. The man was found dead on February 25.

RCMP said the death is suspicious, and are investigating this as a homicide.
