RCMP Looking For Suspects in Portage La Prairie Shooting

WINNIPEG – Portage La Prairie RCMP are looking for four suspects involved in a home invasion that left a 20 year-old man hospitalized after he was shot by one of the suspects.

RCMP believe that the suspects, three men and a woman, all dressed in black and wearing masks and gloves, entered the home and threatened the victim. Two of the suspects had firearms and one of them shot the victim before they fled the scene on foot. It is believed that the victim was targeted.

Initially, the victim believed that he had been shot with a pellet gun, but once medical staff treated him it was discovered that it was a real firearm.

The 20-year-old victim remains in hospital in stable condition.
