RCMP Search for Arson Suspect

THOMPSON – RCMP are looking for the suspect in an arson investigation regarding a fire at a business in Thompson on July 18

At approximately 3:35 AM., Thompson RCMP responded to a fire at a business on Selkirk Avenue.

When officers arrived, the business was engulfed in flames. Thompson Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire.

The investigation has determined that a male suspect filled a small bottle with gasoline at a nearby gas station, paid for it, and then walked over to the business and started the fire. He is believed to have suffered burns to his hands.
