WINNIPEG – A private company that runs hundreds of facilities across Canada, the US and Britain is asking the Red Cross for help at two of its seniors homes in Winnipeg.

Revera operates Maples and Parkview Place personal cared homes where 29 residents have died from COVID-19.

Dozens of workers and more than 100 residents at the homes have tested positive for coronavirus.

Revera says it’s reached out to the Red Cross to for help staffing the homes.
