WINNIPEG – The city expects the Red River to crest this weekend, as many people celebrate Easter. The peak should be just under 21 feet.

41 homeowners have been notified they’ll need diking. 16 others are at high risk.

Because of CoVid-19, the city says it’s helping find volunteers to sandbag and build dikes. And physical distancing measures will be taken.
