WINNIPEG – Dancing Gabe is getting an honorary diploma from Red River College.

Gabriel Langlois is being recognized for his significant contributions to the community.

Gabe will get his diploma at the school’s virtual winter convocation today.

He’s been a volunteer and part-time worker at the Winnipeg Y for more than 35 years and he’s received several awards, including the Premier’s Volunteer Award, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the City of Winnipeg’s Community Service Award.

He’s even been the subject of a book, Dancing Gabe: One Step At A Time by Daniel Perron.
