WINNIPEG – A search warrant executed by Police at a home on Machray Avenue leads to seizure of drugs, weapons and cash.
Thursday afternoon, police and Tactical Support searched a home in the 300 block of Machray Avenue. Inside the residence, they found and seized:
- A sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun with altered serial number
- Ammunition
- Approximately 465 grams of Cannabis Marihuana with a street value of $4,650.00
- Contaminated operational digital scale
- 7 x 1 gram packets of cannabis resin shatter with a street value of $350.00
- 1 package of Cannabis resin edibles totaling 250 milligrams with a street value of $25.00
- 12 grams of psilocybin (magic mushrooms) with a street value of $180.00
- Approximately $4,500 Canadian cash
Police arrested, Jonathan Andrew Paul Rhodenizer, a 35-year-old man from Winnipeg, and charged him with:
- Possession of Psilocybin
- Possession of Cannabis Resin
- Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized X2
- Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Tampering with Serial Number of a Firearm
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X 5
