WINNIPEG – Bus drivers in the Winnipeg School Division have followed through on their threat to strike. Almost 100 of them walked off the job this morning.

UFCW Local 832 says picket lines will go up tomorrow. Negotiations broke off a couple weeks ago. The drivers who want more money have been without a contract since last June.

This job action affects about 2,300 students.
