WINNIPEG – The province says students won’t be required to wear face masks when they go back to school on September 8th.

However, masks will be strongly recommended in the classroom for kids in grades five to 12.

It’s a different story on buses where masks will be mandatory for children in grades five to 12.

The government will buy and supply masks for those who want them.

School divisions have until next week to announce their individual plans.
