PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE, MB. – Portage la Prairie RCMP executed a warrant on December 20th around 4 AM at a home on 9th Street NW in Portage la Prairie that lead to several arrests.

Police said in a news release, they seized six firearms, ammunition, cocaine, fentanyl, a ballistic vest and some Canadian currency from the residence. Five individuals in the home were taken into custody.

Two 20-year-old men from Winnipeg, a 23-year-old man and two 16-year-old men, all from Portage, were arrested and are facing a number of drug- and firearm-related charges.
