Search Warrant Leads to Weapons Charges

WINNIPEG, MB – A search warrant results in weapons being seized and three charged.

Thursday evening police, with the help of the Tactical Support Team, executed a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

Police have charged Rheal Joseph Derek Savard, a 38-year-old male of Winnipeg, with:

  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Steven Donovan Green, a 24-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order (x2)

Gina Julianna Dobran, a 30-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
