WINNIPEG – As part of a drug and firearm investigation, the Street Crime Unit arrested four suspects in possession of a number of firearms including a semi-automatic rifle and a sawed-off shot gun.
The arrests took place on January 28 when police pulled over a vehicle with the four suspects inside. The firearms along with ammunition turned up when the vehicle was searched.
28 year-old Mark David Hurdon has been charged with:
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized (x2)
– Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (x3)
23 year-old Adam Gustave Daniel Delaronde of Gimli, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized (x2)
– Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (x3)
– Fail to Comply Condition Recognizance by Judge/Justice
24 year-old Zackary Joseph Myron Roulette has been charged with:
– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (x2)
– Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
– Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
– Public Mischief
He was also processed on an outstanding arrest warrant for charges that include:
– Fail to Appear
A 23-year-old female of Winnipeg has been arrested for:
– Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (x2)
– Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
– Drive suspended/while disqualified (Highway Traffic Act)
– Drive without motor vehicle liability insurance (Highway Traffic Act)
She was released on a Promise to Appear.
