WINNIPEG, MB. – Winnipeg Police discover $26,000 in methamphetamine and a loaded shot-gun at an apartment on Pembina Highway.
Polices said they were responding to a call about a man being threatened Thursday, January 11, at an apartment in the 3300 block of Pembina Hwy. When police arrived they found 2 men in the suite along with $26,000 in methamphetamine, and a loaded shotgun.
Police have charged two men, one is a male in his 50’s whowas charged with various firearms offences and Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking. That man was released on a Promise to Appear. The other man, Mario Trunzo, 50-years-old was charged with:
- Uttering Threats
- Numerous Firearms offences
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime
