NANITOBA – A single vehicle accident in the RM Of Rossburn took the lives of two people from Waywayseecappo First Nation yesterday evening.

Four people were travelling west on Road 144 at about 9:30 P.M. when it left the road and rolled several times. One person was thrown from the car.

A 45-year-old female and a 31-year-old male were pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 47-year-old male and a 32-year-old male were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It is believed the occupants were not wearing seatbelts.and speed may have been a factor.

Prairie Mountain RCMP, along with a Traffic Analyst, continue to investigate.
