WINNIPEG – The province has announced the closure of the Narcisse Snake Dens. It’s around this time of year when people start heading for the Interlake to see all the snakes come to life after winter. Some make it part of their Mother’s Day but not this year. Until further notice and because of CoVid-19, moms and everyone else will have to wait to view the thousands of garter snakes in their dens.
