MANITOBA – Two separate snowmobile accidents in Manitoba over the weekend claimed the lives of two Manitobans.
The first accident occurred in in the community of Ninette on November 30, early in the afternoon when a snowmobile collided with the tree. The 28 year-old male, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was taken to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Then on December 1 at 7:35 A.M. a 20 year-old snowmobiler collided with a flat deck semi-trailer in a back lane in the town of Churchill. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Both collisions remain under investigation.
