WINNIPEG, MB – A 25-year-old Steinbach man has died from a snowmobile collision near Falcon Lake.

The collision occurred Tuesday, just after 11:30 am on the Can Am Trail, approximately 40 kilometres south of Falcon Lake in the RM of Reynolds. A 54-year-old male and a 25-year-old male, both from Steinbach, were headed south on the trail when the 25-year-old male collided with a tree. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Police said in a news release the 25-year-old was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and alcohol is not considered a factor.
