WINNIPEG, MB – A stolen car that crashed this morning in Point Douglas sent two people to hospital.

Early this morning, around 5:00 AM, police located the stolen vehicle and attempted to pull the vehicle over, however the vehicle took off.

A short pursuit ended with the stolen vehicle crashing into a barrier at the intersection of Higgins Avenue and McArthur Street.

Police said two adult women were taken to hospital. One has since been released and is currently in police custody. The second remains in hospital in stable condition

Police have not provided the ages or names of the injured people and no information regarding charges if any at this time.
