Street Crime Unit Seizes Guns, Drugs and Cash

On October 30, police from the street crime unit executed a search warrant at an address on Pritchard Avenue. Officers located and seized the following:

1 loaded sawed-off shotgun

1 bolt action rifle

1 loaded full-length shotgun

Various ammunition

Approx. 100 grams of Meth (valued at $8235)

5 capsules of MDMA (valued at $100)

Packaging materials score sheets and operational scales.

Approx. $350 of Canadian Currency

Three people were also arrested:

Tampering with Serial Number of a Firearm X3

Possess Methamphetamine or the Purpose of Trafficking

Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000

Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X48

Fail to Comply with Recognizance X2

Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, prohibited Device or Ammunition

41 year-old Grave Ruby Paul of Winnipeg has been charged with:

Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

22 year-old Curtis Harrison of Winnipeg has been charged with:

Fail to Comply with Recognizance

All three have been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
