WINNIPEG – Police are investigating a homicide that took place on July 13 at 5:25 PM in the 600 block of Flora Avenue.

The victim, 27, year-old Christopher Helstrom, of Teulon was assaulted in the hallway of the apartment block and later died in hospital.

In the early morning hours of July 15 homicide detectives arrested a suspect in relation to this murder. He remains in custody, however, charges he has not been charged at this time.
