WINNIPEG – Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a shooting on Monday around 6:20PM.

Police said on November 6th emergency services responded to a report of a male shot in the area of Bannerman Avenue and Salter Street. The victim, a 23-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The victim told police he was walking in the area when he exchanged words with a man and woman. He continued to walk and was shot in the upper body. The man and woman fled the area.
