WINNIPEG, MB – Winnipeg Police are inviting you to attend the 2018 Polar Plunge “Freezin’ For A Reason”.

The sixth annual Winnipeg Polar Plunge will take place this Saturday at Investors Group Field, Pinnacle Club starting at 2:00 p.m.

The 2018 Polar Plunge “Freezin’ For A Reason” raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics.

This year’s Polar Plunge presenting sponsor is the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The first group of participants will feature Winnipeg Blue Bombers General Manager, Kyle Walters and Head Coach, Mike O’Shea.

Last year, 80 brave Manitobans took the plunge in support of Special Olympics Manitoba and raised more than $25,000! Those who are interested in participating or pledging your support are encouraged to visit the website www.manitobaletr.ca.
