THOMPSON, MB. – The Thompson RCMP are investigating a New Years Day hotel fire in the community.

Around 4 PM on Monday, January 1, Thompson RCMP responded to a fire at a three storey hotel complex located on Thompson Drive in the community.

Police said in a release, “The building had been quickly evacuated and no injuries have yet to be reported.”

The Thompson RCMP along with the Office of the Fire Commissioner are investigating.
